It’s been a very stressful couple of weeks, what with January First drawing seriously nigh, many businesses are looking to re-write their health insurance policies, which makes my office rather busy, and me extraordinarily stressed out.
Other than that I have barely anything to offer in terms of coherent thoughts, so I will just leave you with gratuitous outfit shots with the note that you should pay close attention to that necklace. Because it will be the star of its own article in a few days time.
Ruffles are always a thing every season. An iteration of the same feature in different colour palettes, in lighter or heavier textures and material, depending on the season. Kind of like how leopard rears itself several times a year in different forms, except girlier.
Me. Other than pants and tights and leggings and long johns under my trousers and long socks, I don’t give a shit about dressing seasonally. I wear this silk number year ’round. I wear jewel tones in summer and spring. I don’t have a specific season’s bag. Namely, because I don’t subscribe to current trends.

Even though I now refuse to shop at Forever 21, a good portion of my existing wardrobe is from that establishment, and though I choose to eschew “affordable” designer style, it makes absolutely no sense to donate a huge chunk of my wardrobe in the name of a cause.
