Because of Iceland, I’ve fallen in love with avant-garde fashion design, and quirky coats, sleeve details and pleats for winter in heavy fabrics have really, really captured my attention. Though I am on a very strict new-clothing/accessories/shoes/anything shopping ban in order to pay off that honeymoon to Iceland, I’m extremely fascinated with all the intriguing, artful details I’ve been seeing pouring out of Europe in the form of poufs, gathering, ruching and pleating on coats and skirts and pants. Asymmetrical is such a fun way to play with shapes.
See how this Korean Label, Paul & Alice does it. I want that blue coat.
That wool sheath dress is also worth noting. If my boobs weren’t so largely disproportionate to my small body, I probably would be able to wear something similar in a nice heavy fabric for winter.
To check out more of Paul & Alice designs, visit their website. They also have an online store, but I doubt they ship to North America. All prices are in Korean Won.
I will be hosting a giveaway on Sunday, stay tuned!!
