World-renowned shoe designer Christian Louboutin finally ventures into men’s shoes with his Mens Fall/Winter 2010 collection. Aptly named the Circus Collection, the range features over the top designs and features such as a plethora of studs, cheetah and zebra prints, black and white stripes with red suede combinations—even horse hair!
The high top sneakers come in several versions, a few iterations of which are covered in metallic pieces uncannily resembling glitter. The horse hair slip-ons come in two models: a cheetah print and a zebra print, both covered in gold and silver spike studs.
No prices have been released yet, neither have retailers, but trends with his womens collections can suggest somewhere in the ballpark of $700USD – $900USD. His shoes will likely be retailed at fine high-end boutiques and the usual high-end department stores where his womens collections are sold.
What do you think? Would you wear them? Would you want your man to wear them? I’m not so sure.
