Royal purple dress. Going glam in my cocktail best with my teammates at ETSIS HQ.
{ Architecture of an Outfit } Going glam in purple high low dress
My new company, ETSIS (pronounced “Et-SEES”), recently gave me the opportunity to go super glam for the first time since we moved here when we hosted a small cocktail party after work one evening. While on the daily, I’m still feminine, I sort of veer more towards the edgy most of the time. So, when I get the chance to glam up, I get really, really ecstatic.

I think gold looks better with royal blue or purple, but that’s because of my skin tone.
Team ETSIS is CEO/Founder/Fearless Style, Beauty and Anti-Aging Guru Devra (also known as Lady D); Jenny-J, the Executive Assistant (whom I replaced mid-June); the office mascot Gracie Doodle (aka “princess”) and myself, the Social Media Coordinator and Executive Administrator. (Not pictured is our pro style blogger, Allie.)

Team ETSIS’s fearless and fabulous leader, CEO Devra–the perfect style, skincare and anti-aging guru. You’d never know she’s in her late 50s, yah?!

Of course, prior to the guests arriving, we had to take do a Outfit of the Day photo sesh in the driveway.

I’m ready for my close-up, Mr. Director. Hamming it in vintage, royal purple high low and tribal print summer heels.

My gold arm and finger party. JewelMint full finger floral ring and Wendy Mink hammered filigree cuff. So cute and feminine, combined.

I went with a collar necklace, since the belt was so busy lipstick: Revlon Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie.
When in doubt of your own awesomeness, just put on a bright, fabulous dress, way too many accessories and too much makeup with bright lips, and you’ll feel so pretty you’ll forget how low you feel. (In my case, it just went from amazing to stellar.)
