Some people do not celebrate Christmas, some people prefer to say “Happy Holidays,” for PC reasons; there’s Kwanza and Hannukah; every few decades Eid (Islamic holiday) will coincide with Christmastime. Whatever you partake in, this season is a festive time of year that a lot of us can have fun with in diverse ways. I personally celebrate a minimalist style Christmas, but I think it’s always interesting to learn of the different ways other cultures celebrate the holiday. Here are some different ways to say Merry Christmas in different languages and/or countries:
