How do you get more mileage out of a slightly more formal piece in your closet like this maxi dress by Fighting Eel (local Hawaii boutique)? Just put a snazzy, over the top button down over it, like my favorite leopard button down.

I don’t have much to say about this outfit, except that I was in a hurry, and that a maxi is the fastest thing in the world to put on.

But for the office by itself? Um. No. Not without a shoulder covering to protect my skin from the sun, and to protect my body from the chilly AC indoors.

Next easiest thing to wear? Button down. Bam. Insta-outfit. Comfy as shiz, and took about 30 seconds to choose and 1 minute to put on.

Isn’t comfort more important than anything else? It is to me these days. Yeah…style, clothes, fashion blogger, gotta be all fashion-y and whatever… but I still like to be comfortable, especially with all the hospital visits and Dr’s appointments and physical therapy I undergo as of late…

Feeling like a punk rock princess in a way. Repurposing formal wear for work… diggin’ it.

Acrylic “jade” from local boutique. Kinda adds a bit to the outfit, but subtly, maybe. I’m not good at subtle, though, am I?
