Neon green yellow, drapey striped short shorts, clear stiletto sandals, and organic groceries…
It’s my…
{ Architecture of an Outfit / OOTD } YesStyle.com Striped Short Shorts and Neon Green Yellow
Aloha kakahakiaka kakou! ~ Good morning, guys!

Found this shirt at Forever21 and couldn’t really help myself. I’ve been seeing neon green yellow everywhere, and have inexplicably gravitated toward it. I paired it with my YesStyle.com draped stripe short shorts and my clear Jean Paul Gaultier x Melissa stiletto sandals to give my legs a miles-longer appearance than their true stubbiness.
Petites can always utilize clear or neutral heels and vertical stripes to look taller.

Wore this to the beach with my gold accessories, and all the local bruddahs and sistas looked at me like, “what the f*ck is this high maka-maka bitch doing here?” I felt so awkward!

Love seeing patterns on you it’s very inspiring! Now bright colours too <3
Those shorts are awesome, Mae! And the color of the top is to die for! I always feel a little weird wearing neon in colder weather — does that make sense? You would think it would warm me up just looking at it, but it almost sears the eyes when everything else is gray (the sky, the stone buildings) and the sun sets at 3:45 pm! That said, you do see a lot of those neon satchel bags out and about in Edi, but I miss large portions of it: I need to invest in a neon top me thinks!
this is all kinds of AWESOME! i’m (obviously) a bit jealous of your january shorts, but more than that, so happy to see that you are settling into life in hawaii!
Liking all the gold accessories! But I can see how you might get some looks at the beach …
I tried getting the Mr. to take photos once. After that I decided it was easier to learn how to use a tripod and self-timer! A lot of photos come out blurry, but I’d rather be blurry and relaxed-looking vs. in-focus and looking tense and awkward (well, more awkward than usual).
