I’ve been seeing a lot of Shoulder cut-out tops lately–collared ones, crew neck ones, sweaters, blouses, t’s–lots of different ones. Before the trend became more of a mainstream thing, I was determined to get my hands on one or two, and I was able to secure one from a brand called Redopin, a South Korean street style fashion label, exclusively sold by YesStyle.com.
{ Architecture of an Outfit } Shoulder Cut-Out Tops and Chiffon Drapes
I love the black one, because it’s so basic, but the cutouts are huge, which allows for great room to do a bunch of layering… which will NOT come in handy in Hawaii, but oh well. At least the vents are big.

To stay warm, I wore my military style bomber jacket over it. I didn’t need a scarf. Perfect.

I wanted to change it up, so I wore the chain necklace like a tie under the collar of my blouse, and I’m really feeling it lately. Note, I did wear leggings as pants, but it doesn’t need to be controversial if you wear a tunic or something drape-y as I did here. You want something long enough to cover any camel toe, visible panty lines or possible wedgie issues. The Chiffon blouse’s asymmetrical hemline does just that, while giving a nice extra bit of visual interest to draw the eye down to the fantastic shoes and the ankle bow tie details of my leggings. The shoulder cut-outs not only provide ventilation, but also further the visual menagerie. While I only wore one earring, I really kept everything else simple, even my makeup. The only other bold detail was my perfect red lipstick.
Petite Benefits
The almost monochromatic outfit lengthens and gives me height because the color palette is practically uniform from head to toe. My black leather platforms do not break a line going from my ankle to my hip because they’re the same color as my leggings AND they have over 5 inches to add to my frame. The platform toes make them comfy enough to walk in, despite the dizzying extra height.
