Are any of you out there good at styling outfits with denim? After the blogosphere’s fascination with the Jeffrey Campell Litas, the meaning of life, and why people say “whole ‘nother thing”, wearing denim is dramatically beyond my ken.

Architecture of an Outfit: Jeans, huh?

I don’t know how to wear jeans after 7 years of suits and business cazh. My first instinct is to reach for a pair of black slacks of a cute circle skirt. I used to have, like, 9 pairs of jeans, and wore them more religiously than sweats or leggings, but that was when donning a T-shirt and dirty kicks was second nature. Now, I’d only do that if we were hiking, running errands, or something that doesn’t require keeping up appearances.

Honestly, I don’t even know the draw; they’re not as comfy as a skirt or a pair of leggings…

Would any of you be able to suggest to me how to style jeans? I’m drawing a blank.
