I’ve grown somewhat tamer over the tail end of my Twenties, but when I was a young early Twenty-Something, I was quite ambitious and full of ideas of what many adventures and mis-adventures lay ahead of me in my long life.
Considering the adventures I’ve had and the big-ass undertaking that is yet to come (in the form of moving to paradise), I’ve only now just I’ve lived quite a rich life thus far.
The List

- Visit Japan, Korea and China

- Be able to run 5 miles without dying [ML: I ran a 10k (6.2 miles) and a half marathon (13.1 miles/21.1km) and was training for a full marathon (26.2 mi/42.2km) before I was sidelined with a back injury in 2010.]

Having attained the ripe, old age of 29 (what I thought of as old at the time I wrote the list at age 23), I’m grateful to have been able to scratch some of these things off this list. Perhaps I could add quite a few things to it, but the bittersweetness leaves me at a loss for now.
There is so much beauty in this life, in my life, that I can’t believe I let any negative hold any thrall over me.
What items are on your bucket list?
You only live once. And if you’re really lucky or determined, you actually get to live that life. Make it good.

I don’t have a list, perhaps I should make one to achieve before I’m 40
I like how you scratched out “I die”. There’s a glimpse of sunshine and rainbows in that ;] Oh Mae.
I am in full support of you living in Canada for a few years.. Toronto is a good call.. just saying. For totally selfless reasons.. of course.
I actually wrote “Age 35″ on there, but I definitely crossed it out because i thought I might not actually be able to complete the entire list before I hit my Third Life Crisis.
Haha don’t worry, Mae, I’m not made of tofu. I really do appreciate your suggestions. I don’t want you to feel as if you can’t speak your mind or offer your thoughts when it comes to my outfits etc. Constructive critcisms (or tips in this case) totally welcomed
Ah, I see you meant proportions of the clothes, not the huge amounts of bright colours. The cardi idea is a good one and I did pair it with a cardi the last time I wore the skirt. Just thought of trying out the jacket with it, but you’re right. Back to the cardi for me
xx
ineed to make one
You said it sister!!! We have a very similar bucket list. I would love to visit all the places you want to visit. New on my bucket list though- hot air balloon ride in the European countryside somewhere. Soooo good! Thanks for the inspiration. Have a good one hun.
Ah, after watching the movie, I vowed to make a list of my own, but just like every other grand plan of mine, it was forgotten within a week. This has inspired me to actually do one, again.
I’ve always been an avid traveller, so I know that my list will consist a lot of “to go” places.
You got married in a castle? You’re a princess!
Didn’t know you learned Japanese. I’m sure if you start speaking to a native, you’d gain it back in no time.
Re my colour-blocking, dyou think it was a bit too much? hehe I was rather self-conscious with that much amount of bright colours
Love your bucket list! You’ve got plenty left to keep you busy for the next several years. I think my current bucket list includes getting another english bulldog, traveling to too many places to name in one comment, becoming a full time photog, get married and have babies, and lots of other things
