N and I are in Atlanta, Georgia for a long weekend, to celebrate the wedding of two of our close friends. Because four of our closest friends live here in the ATL, we decided to make the weekend a mini-break from our normally not-so-hectic-but-incredibly-busy everyday lives. I also wanted to meet two special ladies who call Decatur home. But how about I let the photos tell you how good my weekend was?
I took outfit architecture photos, all vainglorious and lazy, while N worked.

We went to a charming, intimate, classic wedding in a historic monument…

…of two of the some of the most important people in our lives.

Spazzed out in front of the camera for a second.

Then we pretended to be normal for a second, so we could have a “normal” couple picture. [News flash: we're anything but a "normal couple".]

Got mildly [read: not mildly] shit-faced on cocktails, right after before the salad course… and stole our table-mate F’s glasses and spazzed out yet again for the camera.

Do they look nice??
We ate delicious Ratatouille (thanks, L & A, for serving a vegetarian option! It was absolutely sumptuous!).

We I danced like (a) mad(woman). (And flashed LOTS of peace signs for the cameras–official photography will show me pretending to be in a dance video.)

And spazzed out yet again (x5!) for the camera. Properly drunk!

Engaged in smoochies with a very, very handsome man in a gold tie.

Photographed a dapper, incredibly pleased groom.

Posed for loving photos with two VIPs in our lives.

Met a shop-a-holic pug while I was browsing a great shop.

And played with two talented, stunning, established Atlanta/Decatur bloggers. (more to come on this in the next post.)

All in all, one almost impossibly fun weekend. Much more to come! And of course, some Architecture of an Outfit shots coming up this week, too!

It was absolutely GORGEOUS, NIC NIC.
Looks like a fab trip!
Love the maxi skirt you wore.
The bride looks so beautiful! Haha the pics of you and your hubby are so cute. Peace signs? Really? haha
Btw, you must have told me this before, but pardon me, I’ve the memory of a goldfish…are you using the LX3 or LX5 or some other Lumix camera?
DUDE, I totally ALWAYS flash the peace signs. I think it’s me trying to be “more Asian”. AHAHAHA! Every photo, practically!
I use the Lumix (leica) DMC-LX5. The LX3 has silver trim. The LX5 is the newest model right now, and it’s getting more and more affordable by the month! I got mine on Amazon, and it takes amazing photos. Less good on faces, though. (The facial recognition for auto focus on faces is not as good technology as I would have hoped! But it’s still arguably a better camera than the Canon G12–so they say.)
