I’m pretty sure the title says it all.
Recently, this is my lazy day uniform. Almost flats (but not quite! Perish the thought!), skinny or black trousers, dress shirt or striped T, and of course, the waist-cinching belt.
I imagine this is what I’ll look like (minus the ill-fitting glasses) once I am a full-fledged aesthetician. Something slightly clinical, still professional, hair out of the way but still cheeky and messy as per my usual, and altogether comfortable. Not exactly blog worthy, but most of what I wear on a daily isn’t fit to blog, anyway.
We’ll be living in Hawaii (fingers crossed) by the time I am ready to venture into the spa/salon/medical aesthetics industry, so the outfit will definitely have to tailor to Garden Paradise chic. Something sleeveless and airy. Lots of silks, silken/sateen cottons, gauze, ruffles, lace. And probably a lot fewer dark hues. Considering that I feel like I have just barely come to understand my style… in less than a year it will be re-written completely. Let’s hope I find a good job there!
{ Outfit Architecture: Striped dress shirt, Club Monaco. Muted gold circles bib necklace, Causeway Mall. Skinny ankle trousers, Body by Victoria [similar here and here]. Belt, Forever 21. Shoes, Bandolino (almost said, “Don’t know, pretty sure you don’t care.”). Glasses, Timberland. }
Has spring hit where you are? If so, can you please tell me how nice it is?
