Why do I feel like the Europeans do it best? Despite my lack of anything fashiony in my clothing lately (notice the lack of outfit posts?), I tend to stare endlessly at European street style/fashion blogger photos and think longingly of the days I can again afford to buy clothes.
Saving for school so that one doesn’t have to take on loans is a very, very taxing, and emotionally debilitating process that involves starving one’s lust for clothing and makeup in order to achieve academic success without adding to debt. The immediate reaction is that it rather stinks. “I can’t buy what I want, I have to wear those old things?” A very selfish, materialistic reaction, of course. The end result is still that, rather than dig myself further into debt, I get to go to school for something I can turn into a real career. In addition, I am forcing myself to be more resourceful with the wardrobe I DO already have. Who wouldn’t want that? It’s Green!
Here are some babies I am so in love with lately.
Darlings, may I look like you, please? Like, now-ish?
