Say Hi to The Limitless Dress, a super comfortable organic cotton, avant-garde, convertible dress that can be worn over 40 different ways.

I stumbled on a purple one in the gift shop of The Blue Lagoon the second day we were in Iceland, hanging on a dress horse in a cheeky ruffled halter style, and totally fell in love. However, at a staggering 26500ISK (~$240USD), I was hoping I could find it for a lot less somewhere in the shopping district downtown on Laugavegur. At the Emami flagship boutique, it was 17900ISK (~$161USD). SCORE.

I picked it up in gun metal grey as seen above, and another dress/drapey top called The Peculiar Piece in a jeweled aubergine.
I wore it last Saturday to a friend’s baby shower with The Bow Leggings in black, and the gun metal grey tank singlet underneath. I was more than comfortable. I could’ve worn it at home just to lounge. But who wants to waste that effort?

Below are just a few of the many other ways to wear this drapey piece of asymmetrical goodness:
The dress embodies the spirit of Emami’s design ideal: that women should wear clothes that are as limitless, inexhaustible and as individual as her imagination. This quality of style sets this fearless woman apart as distinct, as enterprising and ingenious as her creative spirit can make her. She should be comfortable in her clothes as she is in her own skin.
Emami pieces are constructed from luxe organic cotton. The firm strives to create clothes that are not only comfortable, and that can be worn in countless ways, but also last longer than traditional clothing, preventing the need for people to produce carbon emissions by traveling to stores to buy more and more pieces as they wear out. This multi-faceted approach to design also reflects the types of young women the firm hopes to dress: stylish, imaginative, confident and socially and ecologically conscious women.

This dress looks fabulous on you!
I want this dress! It’s so much more classy and chic than the AA Le Sac dress (which, unsurprisingly, looked like a giant sack on me). Love the bow leggings too

It’s functional and attractive! usually the convertible dresses I see are rather fugly, so I envy you this purchase….
